Hi Shelley,

Last night was so exciting. After waiting awhile at the air cargo office, he finally arrived. When I got him into the car he was already purring! Such a happy little guy, especially after a long day. We had to quickly stop by work to pick up something before heading home, where everyone instantly fell in love with him (I couldn't possibly leave him in the car when he wanted to meet everyone)! Then we headed home. Everything was set up so I showed him where to go. At first he wasn't interested in eating, but I think, when he finally became hungry enough he showed me he remembered where his food was by chowing down. Now he spends most of his time jumping around the apartment. He especially likes to sit on the chairs around my table and look out into the room or jump on my laptop keyboard when I'm typing on the couch. He's a very curiously little fellow. Today I took a nap and when I woke up he was curled up next to me! How cute.

No name yet but everyone's been giving me plenty of ideas!

Thank you so much!!

hi shelley.  i took a few short viedos with my phone today of mr biig playing with his new big brother, booger.  biig went to the vet today for a checkup, and of course, all is fine.  also, i was thinking, some action clips on your web site may be helpful in showing off your angels' personalities.  if i can figure out how to do it with my phone, it must not be that hard!  i hope you enjoy.  best, marilyn

Mon, 8 Sept 2008

he's here safe and sound!  when i arrived at the air cargo terminal he came right out of his carrier and into my arms in full purr-gear!  the two workers there said they wanted to keep him...NO WAY!  as soon as we got home he immediately relieved himself in the litter box (GOOD KITTY!), and he helped himself to a little snack of dry kibble.  as i type this message he is making himself at home alternately twisting around my ankles and exploring the kitchen and laundry room.  we have been home less than 45 minutes and he has already made friends with my two dogs.  he and booger, my other cat, are just keeping a respectful distance for now.  i'm sure he will be a perfect addition to my household!  i will definitely keep in touch and you both can rest assured i will spoil him with all the love he deserves!  best, marilyn

Katherine picked up their boy at the airport when she was home visiting her Husband Tony.  This little guy is going to keep her company while she finishes her Master's degree living far from her beloved Tony!

This is a script from the phone call message we received when they picked him up from the airport!  We insist on a phone call to make sure our precious Cherubs arrived on time!  Unfortunately I can't capture her adorable southern accent and sweet tone...it sounds so lovely compared to the Minnesota accent.  When I called them back, they had so many more fun wonderful things to say about their new kitty!

"Hi Shelley!  Its Katherine and Tony and we just picked up our little baby and he is just the cutest thing.  He's been purring the entire time and he's just exploring in the car.  He's....I have never seen a cat like him!  Its wonderful!  We love him and just give us a call.  We'll keep in touch!"

Hi Shelley!

I sent some new photos, feel free to use them if you want. It is fun to see my emails on your site!  In the first one you'll see how much he loves looking out at the bay. The second one is by the cat fountain we bought him. He loves it and gets his face and paws all wet.

                                                  - Kanoe and Mr Cuddles!

What a view!  Lucky Mr. Cuddles!  We miss you but know you are extremely happy with your new Mommy & Daddy!

Shelley,

He's Here!!! He is so ADORABLE! He seems so sweet, tired of course, and healthy. Thank You So, So Much!!!  Everything went smoothly at the quarantine station (Hawaii), we were there less than 5 minutes, you had everything perfectly in order! I will write again later, still getting him settled in.

-Kanoe

Shelley,

He is such a sweetheart! When we got home, we opened his carrier, and he just wanted to explore! He checked out the room, under the bed, drank and ate, used the box, and played with the toys. Then he was ready to cuddle. He sat in my lap purring, kneading his paws and giving kisses! He was fine with me brushing him. Now as I write this he is sitting against me purring :).
I just cannot thank you and Shelley M enough! I know you guys will miss him, but know how very happy Mr. Cuddles has made me! How rewarding that must be.

I sent you a picture of him looking out our picture windows, he is fascinated by the pool, the bay and the birds. I will take better ones later.

Hugs!  -Kanoe

He's doing great today  :). He slept in our bed last night, and this morning he was on my pillow, purring in my ear. He woke Brannon up with a kiss on the cheek, he's so sweet! It really shows that you and Shelley M love the cats so much, he is so affectionate. Cuddles is still eating and drinking normally and using the box. He knows his name and comes when I call him. I've already fallen in love with him :)
Tell Shelley M we promise to take care of and love him forever, and give Pookie a hug from us. That is so sad, I know how close animals get when they make friends. I'm sure Cuddles misses all of you, too.

-Kanoe

What a lucky boy!  Looks like he loves Hawaii!

Hello Shelley,

I meant to write to you this morning but things got a little busy.  We got him last night.  He is doing great.  He purred all night long and is still purring.  We just brought him into the living room and he is running around and exploring.  He is such a little sweetheart.  We are so happy to have him.  We are trying out a few names right now to see what fits.  I'll let you know as soon as we make a final decision.  Thanks so much for raising such a sweet little guy!

My sister and I adopted this little sweetheart into our home and our hearts about three years ago.  We named her Ellie.  She is more than we could have ever hoped for in a pet.  She is so gentle and affectionate.  She is always waiting at the door for us when we get home from work.  She loves to be with people and follows us around the house.  She brings so much joy into our lives.  We are so happy with her and Indigo Angels that we are adopting another little kitten.  Thank you, Shelley, for the beautiful little ones you have brought into our lives!

Hey Shelley,
I am sending you the pictures I've tried to take of Ellie.  To me she is soooo
much cuter in person.  I think I just need more practice taking pictures of
her.  My sister is helping me send these.  I hope you can open them.  If not,
just let me know and I will try again.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Ellie Growed up

Wed, 7 Sept 2005

Dear Shelley,
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you.  It has been so busy since school started.
Everything is going great.  We decided to name her Ellie.  She is such a
sweetie.  We just love her.  She is staying in my room for now.  I keep her
in my room when I am gone and at night just until I am sure both cats are
getting along perfectly.

Ellie's appointment went well.  She is doing just fine.  She is very playful and happy.
We are so pleased with her.  Andrea and I are always in a rush to get home
after school to see her.  I feel like I spend a lot of time just sitting
around watching the kitten.  I'll send you some pictures as soon as I have
some free time.
Take care,
Angela

Ellie as a Baby

Sorry about not calling I felt it was too late... He went to the Vet today... He is in excellent condition and the vet was very impressed with him.. His test are negative and we named him Sugar because he is so so sweet.. He is a little tired today, but was very popular at the vet.  They were all excited to see him... He has this amazing sweet soul.. The doctor was laughing because we couldn't get him to stop purring so he can listen to his heart... Good thing he had three tricks up his sleeve because the first two could not get him to stop purring... and even though right now he is a sleepy boy he still purrs... Oliver is so in love with him its his little boy now...I don't think
Oliver had more than three hours of sleep last nite, because the little guy just wanted to play... I forgot to ask about the food... by the way thank you for sending some with him.. What brand is it?  Well listen have to get back to the little guy...

Again thank you for doing such wonderful work in raising him..

Ruth

Hey, Shelley,
I hope everything is going well with you.
Sorry it's taken so long, but I finally got some pictures ready to send to you.  I have a ton more, but it said I reached my limit for this e-mail.  I'll try sending a few more in another e-mail.  Enjoy!
Vanessa

Hey, Shelley

Everything is great!  She has the most amazing personality.  So confident and sweet!  She's really adjusting well.  When we picked her up until this very moment I don't think she ever stopped purring except when she slept.  Her colours are gorgeous, as well.  We're still thinking of names.  She's so unique, we want to make sure it's fitting!  We'll definitely keep you posted!  With pictures, too.
I hope all is well with you.
Thanks again!
Vanessa

She is absolutely fabulous!!!  We named her Laila.  Yes, like Layla Ali.  Words can not describe her.  She is playful, soft, cuddly, beautiful, just plain old amazing!!  Laila had her first vet appt. yesterday, everything was great.  He said she is perfect. She is 2 pounds.  If you need a copy of her visit please send me your fax # and i'll send it to you.  The doctor just adored her.  She is doing just fine with our food of choice.  She is really unbelievable.  My family and I couldn't be happier.  Thank you sooooooo much!!!

Hi Shelley

Just a quick email to update u…

Little Molly Mouse is doing extremely well and is getting to be beautiful with every passing day. She has really stolen her daddy’s heart and he doesn’t leave her alone for a second. As for me – well she is quite literally my little shadow and  follows me where ever I go. She is eating very well and alls well on the health front. She had her vaccinations and although was slightly indignant as a thermometer was placed in her bottom she survived the ordeal and was full of beans once she was home again.

We have been taking tons of photos of her and on Sunday ever went shopping especially for her (although whenever either of us pass a shop she gets a little gift of sorts). Anyway I thought u would appreciate the latest pic of little Miss Model sporting her new little outfit. Enjoy!

Thanks again and hope this finds you well.

Take care!

Thanks again so much! And Ill be sure to send u updates and pics soon.

Hi Shelley

It is nice to hear from you.

Clancy gets smarter every day. Last night at 2am he invented his own game of pinball.  I had placed a cardboard box with some inner cardboard flaps on the floor earlier in the day because he likes to try out new things and boxes are one of his favorite.

At 2am he found his small plastic ball with the bell inside and placed it in the box.

Then he started batting it around and it bounced off the sides and off the flappers like a pinball machine.  Needless to say we had to get up to find out what all the racket was.

We were so impressed with his ingenuity that all we could do was laugh.  We know he will be bored with it in a couple of days but right now he likes his new invention.

Tom says he is going to start to patent these things that Clancy invents.  So look for a Clancy brand of cat toys in the future.

Clancy is the smartest, most loveable cat in the world.

We look forward to your next email.

With Warm and Kind Regards

Bonnie

Grandson & Clancy

Tue, 29 Apr 2008

Hi Shelley X2,

We want to let you know right off that you have been doing false advertising.  We have discovered that Clancy is not really a cat.  He is a dog!

Actually he is smarter than most dogs we know. He comes when you call him, follows us around without a leash, understands what we tell him to do, and races around the house like a crazy dog. We call him “Flash”.

He loves to play fetch- see attached photo. This morning I found 4 “fetches” under the sheets in our bed.  Apparently we did not wake up this morning at 5am to play with him.

And he plays baseball.  He stands on the edge of the chair with the “ball” ( a crumbled paper ball) in his mouth.  Then he tosses it up in the air and bats it across the room with his paw. Kind of like a tennis serve.  Then he runs to get it and comes back to do the same thing.

We did not teach him either trick.  He comes up with this stuff himself.  He also is a guard cat – when someone comes to the door he runs to it and meows loudly.  We don’t know if he is telling them to go away or come in.

He is also a loveable purr factory and enjoys brushings and petting. He has us trained pretty well.

We had to have a semi-permanent barrier made for our fireplace. We prefer a white cat to a black one.

I hope your daughter is feeling better and all your new kittens and mom’s do well this spring.

Tell anyone who wants to get a Woolidoo from Boots and Ashley to be prepared for dog- like behavior.   He wears us out!

With Warm and Kind Regards

Bonnie

Can you find me Mom & Dad?                Another round of fetch anyone?

Hello!

Just want to let you know that Oscar is doing great!!  Everyone that meets him here in Hilton Head thinks that he is the most friendly and best natured cat.  He loves to cuddle with everyone and enjoys traveling with us in the car to Orlando!!

We are just so happy that Oscar has blessed our family and now we cannot imagine our life with out him.

We are always viewing the website looking at all the pictures of the kitties.  We especially love seeing the baby pictures of him.

Hope all is well up there in Minnesota and we look forward to seeing pictures of all your upcoming babies!!

Take Care

Dear Shelley and Shelley,

Sorry its been so long. We've had quite a busy holiday season and New Year. Oberon (O.B. for short) has been quite the miracle for us. He is an amazing joy to have at home. It was like he was always meant to be ours (mine and Greg's--the new boyfriend ;) ) He immediately made himself right at home in his own little castle bed, and is quite the rambunctious little guy. He loves to sit between us on the couch and watch tv and now he's learning to pounce. He's practically human. Did I mention that he's the greatest alarm clock ever? The other day my alarm didn't go off and OB came in and gently prodded me with his paw until i woke up. He doesn't shed and he's incredibly cuddly. In fact, he cries if we don't pay enough attention to him...not like a typically snobby cat at all. He's one of the family. Thank you so much for sending my little cotton ball into my life. OB thanks you too. We know he's happy because he never stops purring. I'll send pictures soon.

All our love

Shelley,  Wanted to let you know that Tinker Bell survived the wedding  and Josalin along with her 5 year old twin cousins Dylan and Logan.  We could not have picked a better kitten for Josalin than this one.  She puts up all day long with Josalin dragging her around and yet at night when it is time to go to bed it is Josalin that Tinker Bell wants to curl up with!  You would think by the end of the day she would be ready for some time away from Josalin but not so!  Our 4.5 pound yorkie, Isabelle is the same way she curls up at Josalin's feet and Tinker Bell is usually sleeping right above Josalin's head.  Tinker Bell is so easy going and so far tolerates the rides Josalin gives her in the doll stroller, being wrapped up in a baby blanket, carried around in a basket, loves traveling in the car, and even stayed calm through the bath that Holli and Josalin gave her a few nights ago.  Holli was sure she would have scratches and bites after the bath was over but Tinker Bell did not even attempt to do either.  We are very pleased with Tinker Bell and I think she seems to like all of us, especially Josalin! :o)  We will get some pictures off to you one of these days soon and keep you updated on Tinker Bell's development.  Hope Shelley H. is feeling much better by now.  You guys take care and I will stay in touch.      Lin

Many more emails to come as time permits from previous years!  I'm trying to start from 2005 and work my way to the present!

And this is how the guys tell you they love their kitten....short and sweet!

Hey Shell,

My baby is doing wonderfully.  She is playing with my
yorkie and they both get along great.

What is her birth date?

Kindest Regards,
Parnell

We met Michelle at her home in the Twin Cities while she was on break from work and brought her kitty to her on our way to ship one from the airport.  This is what she emailed:

Fri, 29 July 2005

My son got home & said he jumped right up on his lap & sat down & cuddled....& he follows him around the house.
Cant wait to go home myself!!!

He is definitely fond of my son and my son is pretty big guy....but he follows him around & is always in his lap, sleeps with him & he even went & sat by the door when Stevie left for a while last nite!!!
my son insists that it is because they are the only men in the house!!

The twins came over to see him last nite, they were all over him, holding him & petting him!  Then Daniel kept wiping his face, telling me the kitty got hair on his face & told me to get it off!!!

Livvy was placed with Mary Ellen as a Toy...she ended up Teacup!  We are so

happy to find homes like this from our Special Clients who love our Babies SO much!

Tue, 15 Nov 2005

Hi Shelley.  Hope everything is well with you.   Pics of Livvy are attached.  Some when she was little and some very recent when we started a fire and she was mesmerized seeing a fire for the first time.  I am not a great photographer but she has the most classic markings.  I saw on your web site that one of the Kittens watches TV.  Livvy watches the Baby Einstein video every morning.  She sits as close to the TV as she can get and stays there until the video is over and the comes to me and cries when it is time to rewind.  It has become a routine.  Talk soon.  Mary Ellen

Wed, 19 Oct 2005

Hi Shelley.  Just a note to keep you updated.  Her weight this morning was 5.4 lbs. which is just about what you said she would be.  She is just the sweetest, most loving little kitty ever.  I see you have new little ones.  Can't wait to see the pics but I am really interested in the new pocket breed.  I'll let you know.  Hope all is well with you and your family.  I can only imagine how busy you must be with hubby, kiddies and kitties.  Talk soon.  Mary Ellen

Wed, 25 May 2005

Hi Shelley.  I wish you all the best on your future goals. It sounds very exciting to me.  This little Livvy is a real climber.  You know the bed I bought for her.  Occasionally she will take a nap in it but her latest trick is climbing on top of the canopy and sleeping up there.  She is a real joy and I'm even thinking about a playmate for her.  What do you think?  When I have to go to the store or even just outside to do some gardening I feel so guilty about leaving her alone.  She sits by the door and cries.  Are you expecting any teacups?  Still in the thinking stage but I'm leaning toward it.  Let me know.  Hope your weather is better than here.  Its been raining, windy and cold (low 40s) for a week now.  Hopefully weekend will be better.  Talk soon.  Mary Ellen

Tues, 17 May 2005

Hi Shelley.  All went well today at the vet.  They just adored her and said she is in great shape.  Livvy is doing amazingly well.  The first night she did cry a lot and wouldn't leave my side.  I'm sure she was missing her home and family.  Each day she has improved markedly and is now running all over.  If I pick her up, she will sit for a bit then is anxious to start running around again.  She plays  with her toys and is just a joy.  I forgot to tell you, at the vets office when he tried to listen to her heart, she was purring so much he couldn't hear it.  Finally, he turned on the water, he said that makes them stop purring.  This little angel is a purr machine.  Thanks again for everything.  Mary Ellen

Sat, 14 May 2005

Dear Shelley. Livvy has tired herself out and is sleeping now.  She explored and then I took out a toy with a long stick and string with a bell at the end and Livvy loved it.  After a while she jumped up on the couch and sat on my lap.  She is so tiny I couldn't believe she could climb the couch but she surprised me.  She sat with me for a bit then looked across the room to my sister. jumped off the couch, ran across the room and onto Karen's lap.  This is the most people oriented kitten I have even seen.  My past experience has been that they hide for three days before they warm up.  No so with Livvy and that is due to the way she was raised.   She is a jewel.  I am happy that you approve of the name.  I will absolutely send you a letter for your website.  I have an appt on Tues with the vet and I'll let you know how that goes and I'll be taking pics tomorrow that I'll send on to you.  Please know that your kittie is well loved and will become my best friend.  I am so grateful to you for this wonderful gift. Talk soon, Mary Ellen

Sat, 14 May 2005

Hi Shelley  Everything went great.  Little Livvy (Olivia)  is home and now exploring her new home.  The flight was on time and you were right.  She was crying until we got into the car and I took her out of the carrier.  I'm not sure what I expected but she calmed down as soon as I began petting her.  There was no strangeness she warmed up immediately.  When we got home, Karen put the litter box on the floor and she jumped right in.  She ate and drank and is now looking into every nook and cranny.  Livvy (do you like her name) is the most adorable and loveable kitten I could have imagined.  I am so happy and thankful for her and you.  I have to go play now.  I'll send you more info later.  Thank you.  Mary Ellen
