RESEARCH the cattery!!!  We can't stress this enough!  Look for COMPLAINTS on the internet.  Also some large catteries sell for a NETWORK of breeders, hence they are BROKERS which are highly looked down upon in the breeding community!  Who are the kittens parents??  We put the kitten and the parents pictures right on your health contract.  WE BEG YOU TO RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH if you are looking for a kitten!  Don't be taken in by a pretty picture with NO information on who the kitten's parents are, and by websites SO LARGE pertinent information and disclaimers are buried in it!  Ask questions!  Is that pretty picture even real or is it graphically enhanced?  There are ways to tell if breeders change or color enhance photos...this has been brought to my attention recently.  Most often the websites don't allow you to "copy" their pictures easily so they feel they are protected from you seeing this because then you can't enlarge the picture and see the enhancement....but you can still do it if you are concerned a kittens eye color or something has been enhanced through photoshop.  There are three ways to verify this, when you are visiting the website page in question you verify the photo is true 1)  Open the website and have the picture you want to enlarge in your monitor screen, click your PrtScn button, open up Paint or another graphics program and then click and hold at the same time CTRL-V to paste the photo from there enlarge it and inspect.  2)  Or you can go click File at the top left corner of your Internet Browser, then scroll down to Save As and save it to your desktop and then open the photos and enlarge them.  OR 3)  You can left click and hold your mouse button and drag it across the picture until it is highlighted, then click at the same time CTRL-C, after that open a graphic program or Microsoft Word (some programs won't let you paste it), then when the program is open, open a fresh empty page and click at the same time CTRL-V.  Then enlarge the photo.  We welcome you to do that to any of our photos on our website!

ATTN:  Another RED FLAG! If a breeder does NOT take Paypal or only takes Paypal for a deposit AND does NOT take Paypal for the majority of the payment could it be because if a Client gets a sick or misrepresented cat they have 60 days to file a claim and prove to Paypal they deserve their money back!  We have never had a client need to do that and happily accept Paypal to PROTECT our clients best interests! 

There are so many other things we can say about being a responsible breeder and representing our kittens properly to clients.  First off, we don't breed cats blindly without homes.  You will never see tons of kittens available on our website, because we are a small cattery and our Babies are homegrown and worth the wait!  Our clientele has been confidential and ranges from millionaire bankers, Las Vegas impersonators, Christian singers, Hollywood producers and celebrities, models, Emergency Veterinarians, Grandmas and Grandpas, to everyday people like ourselves!  Our reputation precedes itself without complaint (please check the internet!) and we would rather have secure homes already in place for our blessed Sweethearts than to mass produce these Angels blindly without regard for their welfare and safety.  Our waiting list is catered to, treated fairly and orderly and we consider our clients a blessing for our Angels.  Without you, bringing these darlings into an uncertain world would be just that....uncertain!  We do not want to breed unwanted unloved babies by the bushelful because we fall in love with each and every Cherub that leaves our arms and want our teary eyed trips to the airport to be rewarded with tales of forever love and spoiled pictures and emails of our Babies being the highlight of their new Homes.  We refuse to bad mouth other breeders or use scare tactics to secure homes for our Babies...that should be a RED flag if a breeder uses this method to place their kittens!  PLEASE RESEARCH!  Once again we are not bad mouthing other breeders, but imploring you to do your own research as to what happens to other overproduced kitties if they didn't command ungodly prices of up to 3 times what Indigo Angel charges for adoption fees for PET QUALITY Persians.  Our Babies are loved and we'd never consider anything less than the best care for them!  Yes, most of our miniature stock is doll faced pet quality but their tiny size, round expressive faces into adulthood and purrsonality is what makes the difference.  ALSO Doll faced Persians as adults should still have a nice round flat faces like our adults on our Mom's and Dad's page...SO look at the adult pictures from other breeder's clients...we've seen them ourselves and what they turn out to look like when they are all grown up!  Amazing difference between the cute little kittens they were when they were pictured on the website!  Doll faced adults should still have smaller ears, and cute flat round faces into adulthood as stated above....so take notice of the difference.  Also, you can buy full sized pet quality kittens like those anywhere for $250 or less so why pay $3000 plus?  We implore you to do much research on the Persian breed prior to making your decision.  We also breed for eye and nasal health....to avoid issues such as snorting, shortness of breath and running.  Yes, miniature breeders aren't highly regarded in the show breeding arena because when they come across mini's in their lines they are usually due to an unhealthy anomaly rather than healthy small genetics and the show standards call for large body frames....all of which we can respect from our reputable counterpart Show Breeders and their efforts at perfecting the breed for the show ring!  We on the other hand breed for loving homes who desire healthy, tiny and unique pets with amazing purrsonalities to love forever.  In parting, RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!  And go with the feeling in the pit of your stomach...your intuition is often right.  Are you being pulled into the sale with tactics of urgency?  Grant it, it does often happen that our kittens go while someone else is inquiring and deciding, but we will NEVER insist on urgency....that is our client's decision.  Our Angels are a forever commitment and life changing event!  Every night we lay our heads on our pillows and sleep peacefully knowing we did everything possible to be honest and forthright with our clients and our emails from our clients reflect that....and that is what being a responsible Breeder is all about in our eyes.
